Bong Ok
Koreatown Center
Mrs. Bong Ok is one of the first enrollees of the WISE
Adult Day Support Center. She loves family gatherings
on holidays. She and her family talk a lot, and share
stories about what is happening in their lives. Mrs.
Bong Okhas faithfully attended the Center daily since
March 2002.
Mrs. Bong Ok and her family immigrated to the United
States in 1987 at the invitation of her daughter. They
stayed with her daughter during the first few months
of their arrival to California. They had a hard time
adapting to the different culture and were also in financial
deficit. They continued working very hard and supported
their two sons through school.
